I don’t
think
it’s supposed
to feel
this good to
talk to you
* * *
It’s like Roses
in the morning
covered
in dew, too
important (beautiful)
for words.
Or, it’s like
the feel
of soft-warm
sun touching
your skin
on a cold
November
day — just
perfect and perfectly
amazing.
* * *
You
are a shadow
love haunting
my memory
like
a deep,
cool breeze
on a
blazing-Hot
day.

To equate a simple conversation and feeling towards someone to that of a period of relief, or I might even use the term oasis, is beautiful. I find it refreshing. Thank you for sharing.

Thanks so much! I appreciate your reading and commenting. I enjoy working with images that wouldn’t normally be considered together – enjoy the challenge of making that connotation occur for the reader. Thank you again!! Blessings:)
