There’s a very interesting article with an uncommon theory over at The Atlantic Wire. Take a look at the theory which says smart people are more likely to try drugs and tell me what you think!

Your comment is very welcome David. I would theorize that, if we follow the findings of the article, it is unlikely the smarter people will dispense drugs to those with less intelligence. That would be connected to questions of motive and gain, of course, and would be a possibility. However, the intelligent people using drugs has more to do with their desire to try new things and challenge current situations in their own lives rather than for motive or gain. (At least that’s what I gleaned from the research findings.)
As to the Eve and Adam question, yes on a tangential level it could be related. The thought of “forbidden fruit” as a drug had not occurred to me until reading your comment. Excellent point for consideration!

Having learned adverse effects, are the smart people then likely to dispense said drugs to dumb people?
Tangetially, does this not raise the question of whether Eve was more intelligent than Adam?
